EVENT INFORMATION
What is the National Yoga Challenge?
Yoga4Kidz strives to empower children with physical, mental and social fitness through the practice of yoga. To demonstrate our social responsibility, we are rallying for your support with this charitable initiative to show kids that they can create positive change in our world with healthy hearts and minds.
From November 20th to 22nd, thousands of men, women, children and their families across the country and beyond will come together to practice yoga, and to observe compassionate living. Proceeds from the National Yoga Challenge are in support of UNICEF’s Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS campaign.
How can I help?
- Register as an individual or a group online and join us at one of our two flagship event locations, either at the Richmond Olympic Oval for Vancouver; or at The Yoga Sanctuary in Toronto.
- Register online to create and host your own Yoga Challenge wherever you like- perhaps at your school, yoga studio, workplace, or even in your own home.
- Collect pledges from your friends and family leading up to the event. Keep track of these on our website once you’ve registered, and watch your contribution to UNICEF grow.
- While everyone is encouraged to register and invite others to join as a team, you can of course be your own one-person team. Everyone who registers is supporting UNICEF’s fight against HIV/AIDS.
- If you know a person or group participating in the Yoga Challenge, search for them on our website to make a pledge, under the 'Sponsor' section.
- If you are unable to participate in the Yoga Challenge on the event dates, donations in support of UNICEF can be made on our website.
